Film: Spirit Stones (PG)
Screen Time: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
About: Spirit Stones presents an historical Indigenous story about unexplained phenomena that occurred in the 1950’s across the South West of Western Australia, when stones fell for hours, days and weeks.
In a truly contemporary history, Noongar Elders reflect on the social and environmental conditions at the time of the falling stones to make meaning of the past and claim connection with these events and their country.
Beautifully filmed, the South West comes alive in a film not about facts, but about feeling the spirit of the country – the Noongar way.

Film: Zac's Ceremony (M)
Screen time: 6:00pm -8:00pm
About: Somewhere between tribal tradition and city life, a young boy must learn what it takes to become a man and awaken the warrior within.
Zach’s Ceremony is an extraordinary, feature-length documentary captured over ten years that shows one boy’s journey to manhood in a complex, emotionally driven story. Its themes are universal: that of family and connection but also explores the question of what it means to be a modern man belonging to the oldest living culture on earth.
