Planning a show involves more than just the creative elements. This practical workshop will help artists understand the technical requirements of staging a successful performance and how to develop their own sound and lighting technical specifications (tech rider).
Learn what information needs to be included, the level of detail required, and how to communicate your technical needs clearly to venues and production teams. Gain the knowledge and confidence to plan ahead, avoid last minute surprises and ensure your show runs smoothly.
This session is perfect for developing artists or artists intending to submit an EOI for Brave New Works in 2027.
