About the event
A marionette puppet show full of poetry and action. It takes you in, moves you and invites you to have fun.
The marionettes are hand-made by the puppeteers themselves and you’ll be surprised at how they are able to transfer emotions!
The show is presented without spoken words or spoken dialogue, and each character has their own story that they tell through movement and music, interacting with the actor - puppeteers showing the magic of the marionette, that is, the puppet on a string.
Multi award company Di Filippo Marionette was created in 2012 by Italian Remo Di Filippo after 2 years of study and research in the world of Puppetry, in Barcelona Spain. In 2014 Filipina Australian Rhoda Lopez joined the company, and since then, they have performed in more than 30 countries and in some of the most important puppetry theatres and festivals in Europe and the world.
