Are you interested in learning some basic production skills in sound and lighting so you can help out at community events in future or to support your own? Do you plan to hire production equipment in the future from Denmark Arts? Then this training is for you!

About the event

This hands-on short course introduces you to the basics of Stage lighting and sound.

Experienced technicians will guide you through the process of assessing, designing and

rigging a venue for performance.

Upcoming events at the Arts House, Civic Centre and Scout Hall provide the canvas for our

training. At completion of the course, you will be a valuable and experienced Back Stage technician,

ready for the next in a series of advanced training modules.Facilitated by experienced Denmark technicians David Nile and James Gentle, this training is scheduled for: Wednesday 14 September 6.30-7.30pm  Intro Arts House Thursday 15 September 6.00-9.00pm  Rig Civic Centre  Sunday 18 September 1.00-4.00pm  Rig Arts House  Tuesday 27 September 6.00-9.00pm  Rig Scout Hall

Free for Denmark Arts members $50 for non-members Please email info@denmarkarts.com.au to register your interest. Following Production 101 we will be offering Production 201, which will cover further sound and lighting training aswell as stage management and this will take place in the lead up to and during Brave New Works Festival in January 2023.
