About the event
Join Linda Scotti in this hands on weaving workshop, designed for children and adults to create their own mini basket. This workshop is offered as part of our '5 Days 5 Arts' program.
Linda is a local Denmark maker who has been investigating invasive weeds as weaving materials for basket making.
Linda sees weaving as a fundamental human practice that connects us to our ancestry and our relationship with nature and the earth.
In this workshop you will learn to weave a small twinned basket out of locally foraged vines.
