About the event

Rising Australian folk star Isabel Rumble (Tas) brings her stunning, soft, stirring debut "Bird Be Brave" to WA for the first time, along with new tracks set for release later in 2024.

Isabel's songs bring listeners into a warm cocoon, addressing the subtleties of love, hope and longing, with a smooth, gentleness that lulls and washes over listeners - music at once alive and reflective.

Fresh from appearances at 2024's Port Fairy Folk Festival, and Bird Be Brave's nomination for the Folk Alliance's "Contemporary Folk Album of the Year", Isabel plays one special show in Denmark on this WA tour.

“..the light, the stars, the sky, the river, the wind, all the things that flow through her songs are filtered through Isabel's calm, gentle, peaceful voice and vision” - Rhythms Magazine

Joining Isabel is Simon London (The Red TailsSimon London + The SpiritsSimon and Tammy London) in a rare solo show, joined by his Spirits and Red Tails collaborator, the talented Mark Gretton on drums.

Simon’s solo shows bring his story-telling and insight to the immediate front, with songs and tales of country, travels, family and life, all stripped back to the bare form of guitar, voice and melody, without losing any of his trademark soaring vocal and anthemic style.

Drawing on his catalogue of over ten band and solo albums, solo tours through the US, Canada and Australia, and formative record industry stints in California, Germany, UK, LA and NYC, these special solo appearances foreshadow and new Simon London solo album being recorded in the Great Southern this month.
