About the event
Parody is the ultimate form of disrespect – so very Denmark!
Put your words to a familiar tune and then karaoke it at the big BNW event.
A chance to vocalise your wit, your protest, your contempt in the nicest possible way (and go viral on UTube).
Perform solo, duo or manyo. A crap voice, infantile rhyming and poor timing welcome. Drag in a friend to accompany on uke or recorder, or sing along to a backing track.
Who can forget the OZ classic “It is a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll”! Here is your chance to go down in lyrical history.
Join me for a couple of workshopping opportunities to create your theme, choose your favourite tune and wordsmith your lyrics. Thursday 5th Jan and 12th Jan 7.00pm – 8.30pm at the Artshouse.
