About the event
Join Patty for this demonstration workshop, hosted by Denmark Arts at Lindy Capelli's ceramic studio close to the Denmark town centre. Meet at 9.30am for tea/coffee and a chat with Patty before the demonstrations begin at 10am. Please park on the street or the empty block opposite the property and walk up the driveway to the studio. Morning tea will be provided but please bring your own lunch (there may be time to pop into town for food unless the group votes to have a shorter break).
Patty will demonstrate how to make your own paper clay and paper porcelain and will share her recipes. The practical demonstrations will include:
How to make very thin, large slabs of paper porcelain.
How to make sculptural/architectural forms with dry slabs of paper clay.
How to make porcelain bowls with balloons.
Working with wooden and/or metal armatures to make sculptural work.
