Public Painting Workshop

Saturday 22 May, Sunday 23 May 2010, 10am - 4pm
Denmark Scout Hall

 These workshops will be led by some of our wonderful local visual artists Robyn Lees, Anthony Docherty, Teresa Thornell, Nikki Green, Tracey Margetts and Gabriele Gehlhaar, and are supported by Lotterywest. The idea is to produce large-scale visual artworks which will “enliven and beautify” the space for the One Voice Closing Concert. These artworks will have a theme of voice and communication, and will be open form workshops for the enjoyment and self expression of the participants. Everyone is welcome to come and join us for an hour or four! All materials will be supplied. Please bring paint-friendly clothing. Children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Choir for Gaia

Wednesday Evenings 7pm - 9pm, Lyra House 77 Inlet Drive

Choirs from the 3 towns Mt Barker, Albany and Denmark are coming together at Lyra House 77 Inlet Drive, at 10 am till 2pm, please bring a light lunch to share. This is a chance to connect with each other and have a big fun sing to start the year off. The Choirs will then meet Wednesday evenings 7pm till 9pm, first evening 3rd February.
