Ongoing Projects

Civic Centre upgrade
Some major events next year could effect our annual program. The civic centre will undergo dramatic renovations and be converted into a theatre/gallery. The plan is to renovate in stages over 2-3 years, but the raked seating, upstairs projection room, crying room and stage will be done first, during the year 2001. This didn't happen, but we do have the raked seating and a workable performance space with hopes of a purpose-built cultural centre in the future.

Digital Art
A portable desktop digital AV studio has been set up in Denmark. The studio is the beginnings of a community tv production house. A surge of interest in digital technology and the arts is envisaged.

Web Site
Our website: www.denmarkarts.com.au was launched in March 2000. Funding from the
WA Government's Bushnet Project and expertise from the Denmark Telecentre has made this project possible.
