First established in 1981 the Denmark Markets has become a showcase for Denmark's craftspeople, entertainers and arts community. Held only four times a year it now attracts a great array of stalls and provides free entertainment throughout the day to over 8,000 visitors each year. The Denmark Markets aims to provide an outlet for regional craft, art and performing arts in a village atmosphere. The stalls are an essential part of the Market Day, with handcrafted, innovative designs encouraged.
