Slice of Denmark CD
Over the past one hundred years and more Denmark WA has gone from being pristine bush inhabited by semi-nomadic Noongar people, to being a logging settlement, then an agricultural region, to being the thriving small town we all enjoy today (see www.denmarkhistoricalsociety.org for more information).
The challenge beginning our towns next hundred years is how to sustain our prosperity through global challenges such as peak oil and climate change.
The community of Denmark WA is responding to these challenges. With funds from this album we’re contributing to Denmark Arts becoming Carbon Neutral.

The production of this album was made possible by a cultural development grant from the Shire of Denmark. Artwork is by Samala Ghosh and layout by Andre Steyl. Mastering is by Terry Dodd. Funds from album sales will go to helping Denmark Arts become Carbon Neutral and into producing next years “Live at Transmission” local music compilation album. Thanks to all musicians who contributed songs.
